Squeaky clean

Mac's love of cleaning has not diminished in the past nine months. 

In fact, as he's become older, he's developed a preference for more realistic cleaning. Our 'cleaning crew' mops the floor with a damp cloth over a broom. So now Mac has his own little versions of the cloth so he can mop in addition to sweeping.

Guess who likes to feed himself breakfast?

Other than the food-all-over-his face part, it seems like a fairly civilized way to start the day - enjoying a light breakfast and the daily news. 

For the past month or so he's had a morning routine of either a "daddy yogi" (a yoplait, favored by Matt) and/or a "baby yogi" which is the yobaby yogurt he's been eating pretty much daily for the past year. Sometimes both.  

And he has lately been determined that "Mackie self" (feed himself!). Hence the mess.

 Mac actually gave up his bottle over Christmas vacation, which killed me because Its such a good source of calcium and healthy calories, and slso because he was my little baby who loved his 'baba'. Such a sweet ritual for naps and bed time. But I'm grateful he loves yogurt and maybe giving up the bottle is good in that he's become a great eater! And I don't want to jinx myself so I won't write anything about the sleeping habits he finally developed in the past few weeks.
